NexVid turns a photo you choose into an AI-generated image or video. Doing that means sending your photo to AI services outside our company. This page says exactly which ones, what else we collect, and why.
NexVid is developed and published by Code Nexeus, based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. In this policy, "we" and "our" mean Code Nexeus, and "the app" means the NexVid Android application distributed on Google Play under the package name com.codenexeus.nexvid.
We are the data controller for the information described here. Where we send data to another company to process on our behalf, that company is named in §3.
When you choose a photo from your gallery or take one with your camera, the app uploads it to third-party AI services so it can be processed into the effect you selected. The result is downloaded back to your device. Photos are only ever uploaded as a direct result of you starting a generation — the app does not scan, browse, or upload your photo library in the background.
Your credit balance, your language choice, your generation history, and the images you have recently used are kept in the app's own storage on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes them. They are not synced to us.
This is the disclosure that matters most, so it is set out in full. Depending on the effect you choose, your photo may be sent to one or more of the following services. Each is an independent company with its own privacy policy and its own retention rules, which we do not control.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your photos with anyone except the processors listed above for the purpose of producing the result you asked for.
NexVid requests no dangerous runtime permissions. It uses only normal permissions and Android APIs that do not require a user-facing permission dialog.
INTERNETUploading your photo for processing and downloading the result.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATEChecking you are online before starting a generation.CAMERALetting you take a photo directly within the app to use as input for a generation. The camera is only activated when you tap the in-app camera button — we do not access it in the background.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGESaving a finished image or video to your gallery — only on Android 9 and older, which had no other way to do it.Choosing a photo from your existing gallery uses Android's own system photo picker, which hands the app the single image you selected and nothing else — so the app has no access to your full photo library. The camera permission is used solely to let you capture a photo within the app as an alternative to picking one from your gallery. We do not record video, access the camera in the background, or retain any image that you do not explicitly submit for processing.
The app shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob, which uses your Advertising ID to select and personalise ads. You can reset that identifier or opt out of personalised advertising at any time in Settings → Google → Ads on your device. Buying any credit pack removes advertising from the app.
Where the law requires a consent prompt for personalised advertising — including in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom — the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before ads are personalised. You can review or withdraw that consent at any time from the app's settings screen.
Even if you decline personalised ads, you will still see non-personalised advertising. AdMob may still collect certain technical information (such as device type and general location) to show ads that are relevant to your context, regardless of personalisation settings.
You can delete everything the app holds locally by uninstalling it. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with your installation, write to us at the address in §11 — include your device's Advertising ID if you can, so we can find the right records.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA, or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, including the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We honour these requests regardless of where you live.
To opt out of personalised advertising specifically, use the Settings → Google → Ads menu on your Android device, or respond to the consent prompt shown by the app if you are in the EEA or UK.
Your credit balance is stored encrypted on your device. Traffic to our AI processing partners uses HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — please take that into account when choosing which photos to upload.
NexVid is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or a higher age where required by applicable local law — for example, 16 in certain EU member states, or 18 under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly. Because the app uploads photographs of people for AI processing, we recommend it only for adults or with parental supervision.
We may update this policy as the app changes — particularly if we add or replace an AI processing partner, since §3 must stay accurate. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
